Logitech USB Headset H530 on Linux (Ubuntu / Mint)

Just wanted to quickly blog that the Logitech USB Headset H530 works on Mint 11 without any additional drivers to install.  Since it's a Debian style OS, I think would on Ubuntu as well. I'm blogging wheneve I find hardware that isn't noted for Linux but works anyways.

  1. Good to know. I have a pair of Logitech ClearChat™ Comfort USB and couldn't get them to work on my Xubuntu system. http://www.logitech.com/en-us/438/3621

  2. @Mike, were you using PulseAudio server on Xubuntu or another option like ALSA or JACK?

  3. I think it is PulseAudio since I use PulseAudio volume control to switch my internal audio profile. I currently use a Logitec set with jacks and switch the internal audio to analog duplex. Works good.
